This shirt features an image of Tara, a manifestation of the Goddess of spiritual transformation. Tara is the most beloved of Buddhist deities, particularly for the Tibetans. She also is very important in the Hindu Tantric pantheon. Legend has it that once, as a person just like us, she had served countless Buddhas. Ages ago she took the Bodhisattva Vow, to work for the benefit of all beings until every one of us is enlightened. These shirts can be machine washed in cold water, but should be turned inside-out when washed. They are a cotton-poly blend, and they will not shrink. They are size large, but they will fit sizes medium through large comfortably. They can also be worn by those who normally wear small, although it may fit a little baggy ( but baggy style is very much in fashion now anyway!)
